In this case, the client came with a color palette and the idea that they wanted grass to be featured somewhere in their logo. The challenge was how to craft something that was bold, eye catching yet not cheesy or cliche.

To accomplish this, I leaned into the brand's name and location, imagining a gorgeous Florida sunset over freshly mowed grass. To simplify the concept, I opted to illustrate the grass in the negative shape of the sun. For logo type, I chose a typeface that was bold, yet clean ... just like lawn stripes in freshly mowed grass.
